Characteristics of the Intrusions in Memory Test Assessing Diagnosis of Dementia

Abstract
This study was to analyze the characteristics of intrusions inmemory test which was a part of the neuro-psychological testbattery for assessing diagnosis of dementia. The characteristicswere disproportional to the levels of global deterioration scale. Thatis, the intrusions for the group of mild cognitive impairment weremore severe than those of the cognitively intact group as well asthe demented group. The findings were discussed in the context ofutilizability of the characteristics of intrusions as a screeningcriteria of dementia.
