Caregivers' knowledge on aging and attitudes toward the aged

Abstract
Many studies have shown the positive correlation betweenknowledge on aging and attitudes toward the elderly people so far.As expected, the positive correlation between them were shownfrom the 262 respondents in the present study who aged from theearly 20s to the late 50s and were caregiving their elderly parentsor relatives. Thus, the findings were suggestive that anyeducational or intervention program for the caregivers shouldinclude as well as emphasize upon the knowledge on agingbecause some caregivers might show negative attitudes toward theelderly people and aging.
