Educational Needs for Aging of Middle Aged

Abstract
Most studies on educational programs about aging have focused onthe elderly people, ignoring the educational needs of middle-agedgeneration. This study was to identify the needs from 424community dwelling middle-aged persons in the southwestern areain Korea. The major findings were that most of the respondentsrated the educational needs on aging high although there weresome gender differences in responding. In addition, the highereducation level, the more interested in hobby and leisure area aseducational contents of old age. The findings were discussed in thecontext of preparing for their late adulthood.
