Abstract

While most people have heard and seen other people's death, theymight be anxious about death itself and/or dying process. Thispaper was to examine what death anxiety is (i.e., what symptomsare associated with its anxiety), how to assess its anxiety, whatfactors affect the anxiety, and what coping strategies are. Themajor factors affecting death anxiety were age and a variety ofpersonality characteristics. Several coping strategies, such asbiological or spiritual, were discussed in this paper.
