Comparison of Concept of Death in Older Adults

Abstract
This study has been conducted to compare death conceptsbetween the elderly Koreans who resided in Korea and those inUSA. They were asked to list about three words or sentenceswhile they think of death. The collected qualitative data wereclassified 4 main categories and 14 minor categories. There foundsome differences in the death concepts between two groups, andthey were discussed in the context of their personal characteristics,acculturation, and religious backgrounds.
