Abstract
Overt and/or covert talents, Knowledge, and skills of older adults are the very important social resourcesto the public as well as to the private organization. However, volunteering by older people had been lessactivated in Korea than in most of developed countries. The author addressed the major benefits of thevolunteering by them in terms of individual, community, and country. At the same time, he would like toappeal earnestly and expect the activation of volunteering by Korean older adults as social responsibility to the public as well as to their future generations.
